#5 1979 Pittsburgh Steelers

The 1979 Steelers had to defend their Super Bowl Championship from the previous year with a 12-4 record. The Steelers started out to a 4-0 record. Last season the Steelers had won 12 straight games in a row. In six of those games the opponents were held to a touchdown or less. In the playoffs,Pittsburgh defeated Miami, and then for the second time beat Houston in the AFC championship game. After that they headed to the Super Bowl and face off against the LA Rams. It was a close game for the first two quarters and then the Steelers defense began shutting down the Rams which led them to a 31-19 victory.
